ຕອນທີ 8: ເຈົ້າອະນຸຂໍອະນຸຍາດຈາກບາງກອກຄອງຈໍາປາສັກ

Chapter 8: Chao Anou requested Bangkok to govern Champasak
Chao Anouvong’s request was granted by Bangkok to allow his son Chao Nyo to rule Champasak. When granted, he summoned all the regional rulers to help rebuild Champasak at new location near the mouth of the river not far from the previous location.  After that he appointed his son to rule the city. 

Note: it's the town we now called Muang Kao (old city), across the Mekong opposite to Pakse.  Muang Kaochampasak or Muang Kao as it's
called, referred to old Champasak where the new Champasak is at its current location further down south.

ມັນບໍ່ ເປັນເມືອງດຽວ         ກ່າຍເນືອງເມືອຫນ້າ
ພະກໍ ແຈ້ງອາດແລ້ວ         ທູນເລີກລາເມືອ
ຫຼາຍວັນຄືນ               ຮອດເມືອງບໍ່ມີຢັ້ງ
ຄ້ອມວ່າ ມາຮອດແລ້ວ ຕົກແຕ່ງແປງການ
ທັນຫົວເມືອງມາ            ພຍາມວນພ້ອມ
ເຈົ້າກໍ ຈຳເຂົາສ້າງ          ແປງເມືອງຕັ້ງໃຫມ່
ຖັດປາກນຳ້               ຄູນແທ້ບໍ່ໄກ ນັ້ນແລ້ວ
ພໍເມື່ອ ເຫິງນານແລ້ວ        ບໍຣິບວນທຸກສິ່ງ
